ISTOM is an engineering school for international agribusiness development created in 1908. There are 5 years of study with 16 months of internship. It includes a first 3-year cycle devoted to the fundamentals of life sciences, but also economic, political and social sciences. The second cycle is dedicated to the deepening of engineering sciences and their application in development projects with the exercise of the MJE and the Business Plan.

The school has been located in Angers since 2018 in the heart of an agronomic and vegetal centre. It is located next to Vegepolys, ESA (Higher School of Agriculture), and Agro-campus Ouest.
